For all ticketed events, please note the following updated policies:

Face coverings are MANDATORY and must be worn at all times except while eating and drinking.

 

To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, note our Clear Bag Policy:

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags (maximum size: 12"x6"x12")
  • Small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (maximum size: 4.5"x6.5")

How do I purchase Premium Seats?

Mercury Ballroom has Premium Seats, Exclusive Lounge Upgrades, and Exclusive Amenities are available for most shows. Season Tickets and multiple show packages are also available. Email MercuryBallroomPremiumSeating@livenation.com for more information or to purchase directly from our Premium Seating Sales Team.

What time does the box office open?

The Louisville Palace Box Office also serves as the primary box office for the Mercury Ballroom. The Louisville Palace Box Office is located to the immediate right of the Louisville Palace Theatre entrance and is open Monday - Friday from 12PM to 5PM. The Mercury Ballroom box office is open 2 hours before any Mercury Ballroom show (1 hour prior to Doors) for will call pickup and walk up purchases. 

Please have a PHOTO ID, the CREDIT CARD the tickets were purchased on, and your CONFIRMATION number.  Tickets will not be released if the photo ID does not match the pick-up name on the tickets.

If another person, other than the person ordering and paying for the tickets, is picking up a WILL CALL order, the ALTERNATE PICK-UP name MUST be on the account. To get the alternate pick-up name noted on the account, the original purchaser MUST contact Ticketmaster’s customer service at (800) 653-8000.

When do the doors open for a concert or show?

 Doors open one hour before every show, unless stated otherwise in the event information. During this hour, come down and take advantange of our Happy Hour! $1 off well drinks and $2 off all domestic cans! 

Where do I park?

Meter parking is available on all streets surrounding the venue and is free after 6pm Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday.

 There are three main parking garages surrounding the venue. Event Rate $10 / Daily Rate $18*

  • Chestnut Centre Garage (420 W. Chestnut St.)
  • Brown Hotel Garage (658 S. Third St.)
  • Fifth Street Garage (630 S. Fourth St.)

There are also parking lots within walking distance of the venue. Daily Rate $3 - $4.50*

  •  Moby lot (233 W. Chestnut St.)
  • YWCA lot (601 S. Third St.)
  • Third St Lot (615 S. Third St.)
  • St. Francis lot (659 S. Third St.)

The Louisville Palace does not validate parking for any show or event. Daily and Event Rates are determined by the individual parking structures and are subject to change.

Are there seats at the venue?

Mercury Ballroom is a General Admission Standing venue unless otherwise noted for a specific event. We have couches throughout the venue if you need to take a break and sit down. There are areas set aside specifically for ADA needs on the night of shows. When entering the venue, please ask the security staff for options and you will be escorted to the appropriate area.

Looking for an elevated experience? We also have Premium Seating located upstairs! Premium Seating features comfortable, spacious seating with great sitelines. Upgrades also come with exclusive amenities like private lounge access, in-seat beverage service and more! I have tickets that say “Subject to Venue Capacity”

Congrats! You have received a complimentary ticket to one of our shows! If the ticket reads “Subject to Venue Capacity” this means that your tickets will only guarantee you entry until we reach our capacity limit. If you arrive after we reach capacity, you will have to wait until someone leaves the show to be granted access. To avoid any issues, we just encourage you to arrive early (before the doors open).

Can I rent the Mercury Ballroom for a private event?

Yes, the Mercury Ballroom is available for corporate and social events as well as birthday parties, wedding ceremonies, and receptions. Where do I buy tickets?

You may purchase tickets on MercuryBallroom.com, LiveNation.com, or Ticketmaster.com. You also can purchase in person at our Main Box Office located at 625 South Fourth Street.

Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, refunded, lost, stolen or counterfeit, and if so are void.

What types of payments do you accept?

The Box Office accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and cash. 

Will Call

Tickets can be picked up at the Will Call Window two hours prior to scheduled show time. Customers must have a picture ID, the actual credit card and the confirmation number. Will call is located on the south corner of Mercury Ballroom at the entrance of Music Alley. 

When is Mercury Ballroom's Happy Hour?

Starting when doors open, enjoy $1 off well drinks and $2 off all domestic cans for one full hour until the show starts! 

Complimentary glasses of water are available for fans and designated drivers! Talk to you bartender or server for more information! Stay hydrated! 

May I bring my children?

Children of all ages are welcome (with an admission ticket) at family oriented concerts and performances. Appropriate adult supervision may be required.

Non-family oriented concerts and performances may not be suitable for young children, and venue management reserves the right to refuse admission for any reason, including concerns about safety. 

For events listed as 18 & older or 21 & older, a valid government issued picture ID with the birth date of the patron must be presented for entry.  Anyone not of age OR without a valid ID will not be allowed into those shows.

What is your accessibility for special needs?

For Handicapped Accessible seating, please call (502) 583-4555. Then press 1, and follow the prompts.

Can I bring my camera?

Personal point and shoot cameras are allowed, but must be small enough to fit in your pocket. Flash photography, video and removable lens cameras are not permitted without prior venue approval.

Professional Photographers may request Media Credentials by contacting Louisville2.SFB@livenation.com. All Media Requests must provide proof of affiliation with credible news or entertainment outlet that will provide a formal review of the show in order to be considered.

Are food and beverages available for purchase during a show?

Mercury Ballroom offers the sale of soft drinks, snacks, and alcoholic beverages (must be 21 to purchase alcohol) during the show and one hour prior to show start.
